mixed feelings about this place

basic accommodation limited facilities

The breakfast was quite good. I will give them that.

The room was pretty basic. It certainly wasn't good value. it felt cold. The facilities were quite limited compared to what i would expect at this price point. the building has charm, but the experience left much to be desired.

The location was GREAT. Free parking was available in reserved spaces, rare. The bar felt VERY cosy. The room was warm and comfortable.

The food impressed me from breakfast to the evening meal. the cooks deserve praise. the staff created a cute atmosphere. I felt at home. breakfast was perfect and delivered by a very friendly lady.

The car park filled up quickly upon my arrival. Some spaces were unavailable because of workmen.

decent historic inn

historic building excellent breakfast great parking cold room leaking shower unsafe chair

the building had a lot of history. it really made its character fantastic. breakfast was excellent i really enjoyed it. the parking was also great for my rental car.

the room was a bit cold when i arrived. i was hoping for a hot shower but the shower leaked water all over the floor. the chair in the room wasn't safe i couldn't sit on it as one leg was loose.

the location was ideal it was a short walk to the centre and main attractions. the breakfast was good with a friendly service. the room itself was spacious with a large bathroom it featured both a bathtub and a separate shower.

the wifi signal was weak in the room it only worked reliably near the window.

the location is near city centre shambles Christmas market. The parking allocation on site is free to guests.. a great big bonus. The breakfast was fantastic and cooked well.
